David Alton Calhoun

David Alton Calhoun, 73, of Denham Springs passed away peacefully with his family by his side May 30,2024 at The Guest House Care Center of Baton Rouge. A U. S. Navy veteran and proud supporter of LSU sports. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Alton Calhoun and Nelda Jean Stewart Calhoun. 

Survived by his sons, Raymond Calhoun, Michael Calhoun and Jennifer Owens, William Calhoun and wife Loan Calhoun. Three grandchildren Dylan Calhoun, Brysen Calhoun and Colin Calhoun. 

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and The Guest House Care Center Of Baton Rouge, for their care and compassion in his final days. A memorial service will be held at a later date. All arrangements are being handled by Church Funeral Services.
