It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Darleen Martha Millet, who entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2026, at the age of 62.
Born on March 13, 1964, Darleen was a proud graduate of St. Amant High School. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—reading a good book, cooking for those she loved, spending time with her family, and cheering on her favorite football teams.
Darleen was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Joseph Millet and Noemie Lebourgeois Millet; her sister, Linda Ann Millet; her brother, Arnold Joseph Millet; and her beloved niece, Dixie Lynn Lebeau.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved son, Wyatt Millet; her sisters, Jennie Templet and Sheila Rudolph; her brother-in-law, Mike Rudolph; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Centerpoint Hospital, as well as the dedicated hospice nurses, for the exceptional care, kindness, and comfort they provided to Darleen and her family during her final days. Your compassion and support will never be forgotten.
In accordance with Darleen’s wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Her family appreciates your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time and encourages those who knew her to honor her memory in their own special way.
“Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the love they shared, the memories they created, and the lives they touched.”
