Daniel John Vyvial

A native of Sugarland, Texas and a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana, Daniel John Vyvial passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the age of 78 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from his career in diversified drilling. He loved fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his siblings, Denise Owen, and Melvin Vyvial; his children, Larry Frank Ceravola, Jr., Wesley Paul Ceravola, and Tristin Ashley Lindamood; his grandchildren, William Anthony Morris III, Gabriella Ceravola, Rocky Ryan Evans, Caidyn Lindamood, Alexis Ceravola, and Nicholas Ceravola; his nieces, Tessa Owen, and Kim Campbell; nephew, Josh Owen; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Creed, and Milani; his brother in law, Jerry Owen; sister in law, Janis Vyvial; and great niece, Emily Campbell.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Burton Vyvial; and his parents, Elsie and John Vyvial.

A gathering to celebrate Daniel's life will be held at The Church Internation of St. Amant on Wednesday September 3, 2025, with visitation 9am until memorial service at 11am.  Military honors to follow service
