Dale Eddie Rester

Dale Eddie Rester, 64, a lifelong resident of Baker, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends at 4:00 AM, Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 25, 1958 to George Edward Rester and Margie Mae (Martin) Rester. He loved the American flag, Harley Davidson motorcycles and anything Mopar related. Eddie loved his family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a self-employed business owner, respected by all. Survived by his loving companion, Lori Hunt; son, T.J. Rester; brother, William “Skipper” Field III (Marjie); grandson, Damien Rester; granddaughter; Raygan Rester; nieces and nephews; Chris, Lacy, Tonya and Brad; lifelong friend, Taz Clark and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him and will miss him dearly. Eddie was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister, Carol Yvonne Hunt; brother-in-law, David Hunt. Eddie’s family and friends are invited to his graveside service, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens located at 6213 Groom Rd, Baker, Louisiana.Pallbearers will be William “Skipper” Field III,  T.J. Rester, Shannon Martin, Taz Clark, Tadpole Collin, Clint Rogillio, Troy Cage, Brad Field, and Arthur Blount, Jr.
