Cynthia Marie “Cindy” Miller, born May 19, 1962, was raised in Springfield, Louisiana, where she built a life centered around family, love, and unforgettable memories. She passed surrounded by her children and the love of her family, leaving behind memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Cindy shared many years of love and life with her longtime partner, Dale Dedon. Together, they built a large and loving family that meant everything to her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Peggy & Jonathan Lott, and their children, Brennon Lott & wife Brittany Lott, parents of Preston, Carson, and Everly; and Alivia Lott & fiancé Cole George. William & Dusty Fletcher, and their children, William Fletcher V, parent of William Fletcher VI; Cody Fletcher, parent of Kinsley Fletcher; Sarah Fletcher, mother of Blakelynn Fletcher and Brently Fletcher; Gage Tullier; and Trent Tullier & wife Hannah Tullier, parents of Colsen Tullier; Michael Stuart & Megan Smith, and their children, Michael Stuart Jr., Dawson Stuart, Ryleah Roddy, Korey Stuart, and beloved daughter, Brixley Marie Stuart. Shane & Casey Stuart, and their children, Luke Whitfield, Levi Stuart, Macy Stuart, Liberty Stuart, Harper Stuart, Fisher Stuart, and Lathan Jake Stuart.
Cindy also shared a loving bond with Dale’s children: Dustin Dedon; Tracey Broussard & husband James Broussard, parents of Elijah, Jacob, and Matthew; and Lacey Dedon, along with her children, Amy, Ellihonna, and Isaiah. She is also survived by her mother, Peggy Hannah; her brothers, Scott and Craig Miller, and their wives; along with nieces, nephews, great-nephews, extended family, and countless friends who loved her dearly.
Cindy’s love extended far beyond blood or titles. Throughout her life, many lovingly called her “Mom” or “Aunt,” and she treasured those bonds deeply. She believed family was built through love, loyalty, and shared memories, not simply circumstance.
Even when life changed courses, the bonds Cindy built with people never truly faded. She remained close with many who shared life’s journey alongside her, including the fathers of her children, and always valued the love, memories, and family they shared together. Cindy also held a special place in her heart for the mothers of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always admiring the love and care they gave to the family she cherished so deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy L. Miller Sr.; her brother, Roy L. Miller Jr.; and her precious granddaughter, Brixley Marie Stuart.
Cindy loved fiercely, lived freely, and carried a gypsy spirit that could never be tamed. She was as country as they come, with a strong heart, a beautiful soul, and a presence that could light up any room without ever saying a word. She did life her own way and on her own terms, and those who loved her admired her for exactly that. She loved old country music, the mountains, fishing, collecting beautiful things, and spending time with the people she loved most. Cindy embraced life fully and lived every moment she was given to the fullest.
Though her absence leaves an ache that words cannot fill, her love, spirit, laughter, and memories will continue living on through the many lives she touched.
A visitation will be held for Cindy on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at Red Oak Baptist Church 28760 Red Oak Rd. Livingston, LA 70754 beginning at 9:00 AM until a religious service at 12:00 PM. A graveside service and burial will follow and conclude in the church cemetery.
