Connie Elizabeth Solar

Rev. 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.”

Connie went to be with Our Lord and Savior on July 4, 2025. She went peacefully surrounded by her family. Her battle with cancer was brief.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Peggy Solar of Morganza, LA.

Connie is survived by her sons, Joshua Chenevert of New Roads, LA, and Lucas Patin (Olivia) of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Darryl Solar and Chris Solar of New Roads, LA; sister, Kimberly David (Bruce) of Jarreau, LA, and her granddaughter, Khloe Chenevert.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the New Life Worship Center, 806 Hospital Rd., New Roads, LA. Visitation is at 11AM with the service starting at 12PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The entire family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and condolences. Very special thank you to Pastor Jimmy Babin and members of the congregation of New Life Worship Center.
