Connie Faye Gauthreaux

Connie Faye Vampran Gauthreaux, 84 passed peacefully from this life on January 27, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was born on September 05, 1941, in Maurepas, La., daughter of the late Valley Vampran and the late Elma LeBlanc Vampran.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Loveland; caregivers/beloved niece and her husband, Valerie and Brian McKigney; grandson, Dustin Myshrall (Stephanie); granddaughter Julia Merkel (Chris Pate); great grandchildren, Isabelle, Jacob, Hunter, Lily, Makinley; sister-in-law, Donna Vampran, and numerous nieces and nephews; best friends, Loretta Gaudin and Virginia Bossom.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Dalton Vampran, Howard Vampran, Valley Vampran Jr. and Ralph Ernest; sister, Dorothy Gagliano.

Visitation will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Maurepas, LA, on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, from 9 to 11 with a Mass of Christian burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be: Brian McKigney, Keith McKigney, Matthew Krieger, Aaron Vampran, Dustin Myshrall, and Chris Pate.

Honorary Pallbearers are Cole McKigney and Eddie Krieger.
