Connie Faye Evans

Connie Faye Evans, native and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the age of 76. 

Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and tending to her flowers, as well as painting in her free time. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales where she found strength in her faith.

She is survived by her devoted partner, Floyd LeBlanc; two children, Lamar Evans and Lane Evans; siblings Irvin Bourque and Eddie Bourque; daughters-in-law, Tracy Evans and Chela Evans; grandchildren, Parker and Perri Evans. 

Connie is preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Evans; her parents Murphy and Beatrice Bourque; siblings, Allison Bourque and Murphy Bourque Jr.; her beloved dog, Shadow.

A casual gathering to celebrate Connie's life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at The Greens Community Center (5474 Courtyard Dr. in Pelican Point The Greens.) from 1pm-5pm.
