A ceremony celebrating the life of Clemon Lamar Mullins will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, at Comite Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm. Graveside service with Military Honors will be at Louisiana National Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 am.
Clemon, a devoted husband, loving father, proud Marine, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
He was married for 60 wonderful years to the love of his life and soulmate, Jean Mulkey Mullins, whom he adored and cherished until his final day. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with faith, love, and family. Clemon was the proud father of three daughters, Kellie Forbes (Scott), Amy Morris (Scooter), and Emily Jobe (Matt), his “Daddy’s girls” who adored him and considered him their hero.
A proud United States Marine, Clemon served his country with honor before dedicating his life to his faith and family. He was a longtime member of Comite Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a deacon for many years. His love for the Lord was unwavering, and he shared his testimony with all he met.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; his three daughters; ten grandchildren, Jacob Forbes (Allison), Erin Wilbanks (Bryson LeJeune) Brady Morris (Kylie), Ryan Morris (Bre), Maggie Morris, Caleb Forbes (Karlie), Adam Forbes, Daniel Forbes, Avery Jobe, Landry Jobe; and four great-grandchildren, Liliana, Jayden & Raelynn Forbes, and Merritt Morris.
To know Clemon was to love him. His legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given, these gifts will be used to honor Clemon’s life and memory through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
