Clara Mae Bauer Hill

February 25, 1940 — May 27, 2024

Clara entered into eternal life on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 84. She was a genuine soul with a loving heart and she will be dearly missed. She was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge and a long-time employee of Stanocola Medical Clinic.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Boyd, her two children Doug Hill (Amphone) and D'Ann Ringe (Troy), eleven grandchildren: Ana, Nicole, Elise, Evan, Iris, Micah, Noah, Jonah, Elijah, McKenna, and Keegan, and a brother, Ronnie Bauer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo Camille and Irma Dake Bauer, a sister, Shirley Sue (Bauer) Varnado, and four brothers, Camille "Sonny Boy" Bauer, Melvin Bauer, Harvey Bauer, and an infant brother (Baby Boy Bauer).

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31 at Zoar Baptist Church in Central from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pall bearers will be her grandsons Micah, Noah, Jonah, and Elijah Ringe and Evan Hill.
