Cindy Henry Johnson

Cindy Henry Johnson, native of Morgan City, LA passed away in Gonzales, LA at her home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the age of 64.

Cindy was born and raised in Morgan City/ Stephensville area, then later in life moved to Gonzales, where she lived with Mike, Jerry, Nick and Allie Breaux. The past 4 years, Cindy resided in Sebring, FL, where she was a custodian for Sykes Cleaning Services.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Cutrell (Andrew) of Athens, AL, Samantha Johnson of St. Louis, MO, and Cody Johnson of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Makaila Marie McLeod, Ashley Marie McLeod, Rebekah Marie McLeod, all of AL; siblings, Angela Henry of Morgan City, LA, Sidney Henry of Morgan City, LA; sister-in-law, Casy Henry of FL.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Henry and Gail P. Sons; brother, Brent Henry; Maternal grandparents, Wilson and Emma D. Sons; paternal grandparents, Francis and Florence V. Henry; uncles, Jerry Henry( Gladys), Steve Henry; aunt, Grace Vasseur (Earl); cousins Barry Henry and Lisa Vasseur; Janell Todd, Emma Hunt; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

The family would like to thank Nick Breaux, Mike and Jerry Breaux, for all of their help caring for Cindy in her time of need. They would also like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge staff, including their admin, nurses, Chaplin aides, and pharmacy delivery group. The staff’s knowledge, professionalism, prayers, and everything in between was very much appreciated and the entire Johnson Breaux family thanks you.

Family and friends are invited to the graveside service, which will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, at Morgan City Cemetery at 1pm
