Christopher Louis Daniels

Christopher Louis Daniels, 72 of Baton Rouge LA entered through the gates of Heaven Thursday May 21, 2026, to be with his Lord and Savior. Chris was born on December 27, 1954, to Edwin and Shirley Daniels in Baton Rouge. Chris was a 2-time All State baritone horn player in the Istrouma High School Band and was accepted into LSU’s Golden Band from Tiger Land after graduating from high school. Though his college career was short lived Chris continued his passion for music into his adult life. Chris was a devoted son to his parents and great brother to David Daniels. He enjoyed being apart of several worship teams over the years where he played piano and sang. Chris loved Immanuel Baptist Church, Glory House ministries and First New Testament Church where he did volunteer ministry for years. He also loved conservative political conservations, discussing the gospel of Jesus and in his later years Chris became a skilled sketch artist. He is proceeded in death by his father Edwin Daniels and mother Shirley Boulet Daniels, and his brother David Daniels. He is survived by his nephews James Daniels, Aaron Daniels and wife Emily Daniels, Jonathan Daniels and his grandniece Lorelle Daniels.
