Chester A. Varnado Jr., a man known for his thoughtfulness and great sense of humor, passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 80. C.A. was born on October 18, 1943, in Biloxi, Mississippi to his parents Chester A. Varnado Sr. and Keller Rainey Varnado.
Throughout his life, Chester was an individual with diverse interests. He found joy in being a gun enthusiast and exploring antique shops. These hobbies allowed him to connect with others who shared similar passions and created lasting memories.
Chester's love for life extended beyond his personal interests. He had an innate ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him with his infectious sense of humor and quick wit. His thoughtful nature always made people feel valued and appreciated in his presence.
In addition to his vibrant personality, Chester was a beloved family member and friend. Doris Corkin, his common-law wife, shared many precious moments with him throughout their time together. Their bond was built on love, support, and understanding.
Chester will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and kindness that will continue to touch the lives of Joseph Radford (nephew), Kenneth Radford (nephew), Marlee Varnado (niece), and a host of other relatives.
A graveside service will be held to honor C.A.'s life on November 24, 2023, starting at 11:00 AM at the Seal Cemetery in Franklinton, Louisiana. Friends and family are invited to attend this final farewell as we gather together to reflect on cherished memories and celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
