Chelsea Ann Borne

Chelsea Ann Borne was born on March 21, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She passed away on April 22, 2026. Chelsea was known for her vibrant personality and was truly full of life. She loved the outdoors and found great joy in spending time outside. Along with her love for nature, Chelsea also had a deep passion for reading and writing poetry, which brought much meaning and comfort to her life.

Chelsea’s life was marked by significant moments, including the deep impact she felt from the loss of her father, Scott Borne. Despite facing such challenges, she remained a bright and lively presence to those around her.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Lessard; her sons Kayden Borne and Cameron Shipp; her brothers, Cory Borne and Casey Borne (Joselle) ; her niece, Ily Borne; and her aunts, Lori Lessard, Cheryl Lessard, and Belinda Peco. Chelsea also leaves behind numerous cousins who carry her memory forward.

Chelsea was preceded in death by her father, Scott Borne; her maternal grandmother, Anna Shelton; her maternal grandfather, Jimmie Lessard; paternal grandmother, Roselyn Borne; paternal grandfather, Clark Borne; and aunts Michelle Borne and Marci Borne, as well as her uncle Clark Borne, and uncle John Lessard Sr. 

A memorial service to honor and remember Chelsea will be held on May 1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 304 E Nell St, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to others.

Chelsea Ann Borne will be remembered for her lively spirit, her love for poetry and nature, and the special place she held in the hearts of her family and friends.
