Charles Anthony Prejean, a beloved father, brother, and friend to many, passed away in his home on June 12, 2025, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 67. Also known as Charlie, lived a loving and extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, hard work, and most of all, a deep and abiding love for his family and friends. Born on July 21, 1957, in Sulphur, Louisiana, Charlie was a graduate of Sulphur High School, Class of 1975. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Eura Marie Faul Prejean, father, James Joseph Prejean, sister-in-law, Mimi Prejean, and his beloved dog Louie “Lew Boi”. Survived by his sons, Jason Robert Prejean and Nicholas James Prejean, sister Debra “Debbie” Prejean, brother, Carl Prejean, and the mother of his children, Pam Endsley Prejean Williams. His professional life included careers in drafting and retail management. Beyond his careers, he was an avid Cajun chef, providing joy and good memories through his food and good times. He loved entertaining, music, and dancing. He was an excellent landscape artist and had a profound love for his dogs. Known for his adhering love for his Cadillac and cars in general, he made sure to always have his cars in tiptop shape. His sense of humor and contagious spirit and laugh will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His legacy lives on through his cherished sons, siblings, close friends, and the countless lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 LA 429 St. Amant, 70774 on June 27th, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Mass will then follow at 11:00AM.
