Charles “Chuck” Parker, a native of Acy, LA and resident of St. Amant, LA, was born on December 16, 1954, and passed away peacefully Friday June 6, 2025, at the age of 71.
He retired from Turner Industries at Motiva Convent after many years of service and was a member of Painters & Allied Trades Local Union #728 and Boilermakers Lical Union # 37. Chuck enjoyed time spent with his family and commercial crabbing in Lake Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain. He also built and repaired crab traps as well as harvesting soft shell crabs at his home.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell “Mitch” J Parker; sister, Belinda P Lambert; four grandchildren, Alison L Parker, Nathan J Parker, Ethan J Parker, Evan M Parker and girlfriend, Connie Barras; beloved dog buddies, Sam & Bob.
He is proceeded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mona Renee Parker; son, Charles “Chip” Parker; brother, James “Jimmy” Parker; father, Milbern “MJ” Parker and mother, Ruby H Parker.

A service to celebrate the life of Charles will be held at The Venue of St. Amant, LA on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at The Venue Hall, 13475 Hwy 431, St Amant. A meal will be served during the gathering.
