Charles Wayne Felder

A ceremony celebrating the life of Charles “Pete” Wayne Felder will be announced later.

Pete was born in Osyka, MS on March 14, 1949, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 18, 2025.

He is survived by his daughters Carol Ann Rome (Russ), Melissa Gauthier (Steven), and Katie Fonte (Mark); the mother of his children and loving friend Cathy Felder; life-long friends Kay Hopkins, Rocky Harris, and Richard Bradley. Grandchildren Kim Gillaspie (Doug), Kayla Roussel (Davin), Paul Gauthier (Heather), Jackson Rome, Bryce and Kason Fonte, and great Grandson Ethan Stansell. Also survived by his partner of 30+ years Toni Fisher, and stepchildren Jody, Robin and family. Survived as well by a sister Mary Mitchell, niece Margie, great nephew Justin, nephew James Felder, niece Sandra Mitchell, and niece Dena Wright.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dewitt and Aline Partin Felder, stepfather Herbert Lee, siblings Thomas Douglas "TD" and Bud Felder, nephews Douglas and Ben Felder, and a niece Holly Felder.
