Carrie Jean "Jeanie" Farris Ledoux

Carrie Jean “Jeanie” Farris Ledoux, of Baker, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her childhood home.

Jeanie is survived by her daughter, Ryann Ledoux; her brother, Donald Farris; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnet Farris and Albert Farris.

Jeanie found joy in the simple things, especially spending time with her beloved pets, Tom and Moonshine. She loved reading and watching movies. She was great at creative writing. Those who knew her will remember the quiet happiness she found in the things she loved.

A celebration of Jeanie’s life will be held at South Walker Baptist Church on Thursday, August 6th, at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend as they gather to honor her life and cherish the memories she leaves behind.
