Carl James Juneau

Carl James Juneau passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 25, 1954, Carl will be remembered as a man who found great joy in the people he loved and in the simple pleasures of life.

Carl loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating, running trotlines, and mudriding. He also loved playing the guitar and singing while surrounded by those closest to him. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and his warm spirit and sense of humor allowed him to make just about anyone laugh.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene, who has been his leaning post for over 40 years; his children, Karen A. Juneau, Timothy S. Lambert, Caleb R. Morgan, known as “,” and Jaimie L. Lambert, known as “Slim,”. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Gauge Juneau, Alex Thibodeaux, Abby Thibodeaux, Alexus Gibson, Kaylin N. Morgan, Tristan I. Morgan, known as “Bubba,” Audrey E. Deen, known as “Snoop,” and Waylon J. Deen, known as “Boop.”

Carl is also survived by his sisters Sandra “Tan” Parker and Sarah “Nan” Schultz, and his sister Sandy “Ponkie” Juneau. He will also be remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including Keith Parker, and Eddie Schultz, along with many other family members and friends who shared in his life and laughter.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Geraldine Juneau, son Kurt J. Juneau, known lovingly as "Challie"; daughter, Carla Dunning; brother and sister-in-law, Grady "Peter" Juneau and Vera Juneau, and infant son, Carlos James Juneau.

Carl James Juneau leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured time spent together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and lovingly remembered by those whose lives were brightened by his presence.

His soul is God's, his memory ours.
