Bridgette Marie Jeansonne

Bridgette Marie Jeansonne, a resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the age of 65. Retired from BASF, she had a love for crafting and enjoyed spending time at her second home in Grand Isle, relaxing and fishing. She is survived by her mother, Anna Laurent Jeansonne; her sister, Dawn LeBoeuf (Raymond); her children, Hope Wireman, August “AJ” Phelps, Anna Phelps, and Jason Sheets (Heather); her grandchildren, Adriene Phelps, Devon, Trevor, Ethan, and Vance Wireman, Brynna Phelps, and Logan Burke (TX); her great-grandchild, Kasen Phelps; and her longtime partner, Barney Gautreau. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Joseph Jeansonne; her grandparents, Raleigh J. Laurent, Stella Guedry Babin, Pierre C. “Layton” Babin, Gussie Jeansonne, and Celestine G. Bordelon; and her godfather, Charles Laurent Sr. Pallbearers will be Devon, Trevor, Ethan, and Vance Wireman, Brent Laurent, and Charles Laurent Jr. Visitation will be held Friday, June 23rd from 9:30-11:00 am at St. Theresa of Avila Church in Gonzales, with mass to follow.
