Brian Richard Vicknair

Brian Richard Vicknair, born in Garyville, LA on July 31st, 1950, passed away on October 4th, 2026 in Baton Rouge, LA following a fierce battle with brain and lung cancers. He was 76 years old.

A native of Garyville, Brian later became a resident of Maurepas, LA after serving his country in the United States Navy honorably. He worked most of his life as an oiler in chemical plants and provided for his family whenever needed.

Brian loved his family and his country foremost, but was known to be a lifelong motorcycle rider - particularly a Harley-Davidson bike. Included in his family - he loved all of his animals, Mooch, Luci and Kisses.

Brian is survived by his daughter Dawn Vicknair, sister Karla Dencausse (Ricky); brother Randy Vicknair (Debbie); and grandson Joshua Boyle.

He is preceded in death by his wife Phoebe Vicknair, mother Betty B. Vicknair, father Harold Vicknair, sister Dina Vicknair, and nephew Rick Dencausse.

A visitation for Brian will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026 at The Church International in St. Amant 13423 LA-431, St Amant, LA 70774 beginning at 9:00 AM until a religious memorial service at 11:00 AM - officiated by pastor Terry Nelson.
