A devoted husband, father, friend, and a man of God. Brian passed on August 15, 2023 in his hometown of Denham Springs, LA. He was born on July 29, 1963 to Wickcliff and Vernola Dugas. Brian was a 1981 graduate of Denham Springs High. After high school Brian began working for Gulf States Utilities, which later became Entergy. He retired in February of 2022 with 40 + years of service. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dana Duncan Dugas, two sons, Devin Dugas and Mason Dugas, his mother, Vernola Aydell Dugas, his brother, Darrell (Suzette) Dugas and two aunts/sisters, Terri Reeves and Carla Reeves, mother-in-law, Jane Burch Duncan, two sisters-in-law, Donna (Richard)McShan, and Denise (Brian) Hanson and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Wickcliff Dugas, paternal grandparents, Leroy Dugas, Ethel DeLatte Dugas Reeves, Carl Reeves; maternal grandparents Simon Aydell and Stella Berthelot Aydell, and father-in-law, Donald Duncan. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Hebron Baptist Church, 24063 La Hwy 16, Denham Springs, LA 70726 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 12:00 pm until service at 2:00 pm. Following service at 4:30 pm Brian will be laid to rest at the Duncan Cemetery, 22111 La Hwy 441, Kentwood, LA 70444. Pallbearers: Devin Dugas, Mason Dugas, Duncan Hanson, Denton Hanson, Sandy Sims, Landon Roney, Zachary Taylor, and Landon Millet.
