Bo Gregory Smith

Baby Bo Gregory, beloved son of Jacob and Laynie Smith and brother to Jennings, was born sleeping on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 4:13 PM. Though Bo never took a breath on this earth, he was surrounded by love, warmth, and the cherished presence of his family before finding peace. Baby Bo is also survived by his paternal Great Grandfather Henry Welch and maternal Great Grandmother Janet Louque. His paternal grandparents Gregory and Angela Smith and his maternal grandparents Jeffrey “Bodeen” and Mollie Arceneaux. Aunts and Uncles Jessica Smith, Luke and Kyrie Arceneaux, and Lindsey and Peter Saucier. Cousins Owen, Annie, Adrianna, and Erik.

He is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Lloyd and Sara Smith, Carolyn Welch, Edward "Chomp" and Mildred "Millie" Arceneaux, and Melvin "Caccoon" Louque.

While our arms are empty, our hearts are full of the love he brought to us during our short time together. A Christian memorial for Baby Bo will be held Saturday, February 7th beginning with a visitation at 10 AM with a formal service immediately following at 11 AM. Events will take place at The Church International in St. Amant, LA.
