Blaine Joseph Chiasson

Blaine Joseph Chiasson, a devoted father, grandfather, and passionate soul, passed away December 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, happiness, and good times at the age of 52.

Blaine was born on June 6, 1972, in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Blaine found enjoyment in the simple things in life such as fishing, watching football, specifically LSU, cooking and grilling, and making sure everyone around him was happy. He had a distinct love for fashion and loved dressing up in his suit jacket and his cowboy boots.

He had a love for good music which he often shared with family and friends and he always looked forward to his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. Above all, he loved his grandchildren dearly.

Blaine was preceded in death by his father, Blaine "Butch" Doucet, and his mother, Della Chiasson. He is survived by his children Ashley Chiasson, Katie Chiasson, Chance Chiasson, and stepdaughter Cora Lee Clifton. He leaves behind a vibrant group of grandchildren: CJ, Ariel, Scarlett, Luna, Joseph, and Adeline. Blaine is also survived by his siblings: Brooks Chiasson, Rebecca Doucet Rodrigue, and Scott Doucet and the mother of his children, Karen Chiasson. He will be forever missed by his best friend, Pamela Newman and mini bestie, Olivia Spring along with many other friends whose lives he touched.

A private memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate a life well lived.
