Billy D. "Donnie" Rush

2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.

Donnie was born April 4, 1959 in Biloxi, MS and passed away November 15, 2023 in Baton Rouge, LA after a courageous battle with vascular dementia. He worked in the construction industry painting and sheetrocking in the Greater Baton Rouge area for many years. Donnie was fun loving, a people lover, and an LSU fan. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Melissa Gonzales, Holly Rush, and Haley Rush; three sisters, Susan Joffrion, Linda Blache, and Vickie Rush; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy (Donald) and Amelia Rush.

A memorial service will be held December 2, 2023 at Faith Presbyterian Church, (12855 Old Hammond Hwy. Baton Rouge) at 2pm officiated by Rev. Steve Wallace. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in Donnie's memory.
