Beverly Dunn Langlois, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted supporter of her community, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at Harvest Manor Healthcare in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Born on October 3, 1939, in Lafayette, Beverly's life was marked by deep faith, unwavering dedication to her family, and a spirited passion for LSU sports.
Beverly was renowned for her warmth and generosity, often expressing her love through the fellowship luncheons she lovingly organized for family and friends. These gatherings were a testament to her commitment to nurturing close relationships and celebrating the joys of life with those she held dear.
Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and inspiration throughout her years. This devotion was mirrored by her enthusiasm for LSU athletics. She was a passionate supporter of the LSU Tigers Football Team, faithfully holding season tickets for many seasons, and closely followed LSU baseball, embodying the spirit of a true fan.
Beverly is survived by her son, Keith Langlois, and his wife, Kim; son-in-law Cary Farmer; grandchildren Ryan Langlois and wife Samantha, Jared Langlois, Kyle Farmer and his wife Shelbi, Lauren Farmer and her fiancé Cory Tuggle, and Dale Farmer and his wife Sydney; great-grandchildren Joseph and Cameron Langlois and Bronson Farmer; her brother Larry Dunn and his wife Carla; and sister-in-law Shirley O’Conner. Her family was central to her life, and her legacy will live on through their memories and love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dewey J. Langlois Jr.; her daughter, Cherie Farmer; her parents, Mattie and Otis Dunn; and her brother, Johnny O’Conner.
Beverly’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with faith, family, and fervent enthusiasm for the LSU Tigers. She leaves behind a lasting impression of love, kindness, and a joyful spirit that will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her soul will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
A ceremony celebrating Beverly's life will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2026, at Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood, visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until time of the service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Azalea Rest Cemetery.
