Bennie Scott Hall, 73 of Monroe, passed from this life on Earth into his eternal home on Sunday April 14, 2024. Visitation will be held Saturday April 20, 2024 at 1:00P.M until 2:00P.M at Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church in Calhoun, Louisiana with the funeral immediately after beginning at 2:00P.M and graveside to follow. Rev. Jimmy Masters and Bro. Quentin Smith will be officiating the service.

Bennie was born on March 3, 1951 to Gurvis B. Hall and Ollie Hall in Forest, Louisiana. Bennie was a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church for 63 years with his family, where he served the Lord. He was a man of integrity, honor, and was devoted to his family and the Lord. He always spoke about being a superhero in his next life, but that is impossible because that is what he already was to everyone he met. Bennie never met a stranger and took everyone as his own with a big grin, that will be greatly missed. He was an avid prankster with his children and grands. He also spent many of his years driving a semi truck and dump truck for Tyson. Some of his favorite moments from his “big truck” days, were the trips, sites and wonders along the way with his family. He never saw it as a “job”, he loved every second of what he did. Bennie called himself blessed with this lifetime and he most definitely was. To him, Gods grace far exceeded his life expectancy, and if you asked him today he would tell you “My cup runneth over!”.

Bennie is preceded in death by his parents, Gurvis and Ollie Hall; siblings, Jerrie Harris, Linda Graham, Betty Morris, and Janelle (Sambo) Mckeel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 52 years, Scherry Lynn Hall; siblings, Gurvis Hall (Wanda), Frankie Manley and David Hall (Gail); sons, Michael Hall (Laurie) and Scott Hall (Stormi); grandchildren, Jessica Moore (Cory), Destin Hall (Megan), Brooke Evans (Alex), Aaron Hall (Ana), Paige Trim (Kaden), Micha Hall, Lexie Hall, and Oaklee Hall; great grandchildren, Keidan, Karcyn, Khonner, Sienna, Presley, Karmen, Slade, Jax, and Baylor; extended family, Ella, Josie, Dominic, Rosa, Tracie, and beloved, Maw Vena, Lavena Pace, and numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Kelly, Ronnie (Butch) Morris, Ritchie Burgess, Seth Powell, Blake Burke, and Jonathan Smith.
