Barry Edward Hoerner

"In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

 Barry was 88 years old and a native of New Orleans. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 31, 2025. He loved to fish in Hopedale, Louisiana, and shared his favorite fishing spots with his friends and family. Barry served the Lord with joy and gladness. He is preceded in death by parents, Clement and Theresa Barry Hoerner. Barry is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Peggy Rieffel Hoerner; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Craig Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Karen Hoerner; grandchildren, Julie Williams, Hannah Williams Babin and husband, Zachary Babin, Ryan Barry Hoerner, and Rachel Hoerner; great-grandchildren, Max and Oliver Babin.

A private graveside service was held in St. Patrick Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
