Barbara Kay Creel

Barbara Kay Creel entered into eternal rest on May 14, 2024 at the age of 63. She was born on September 9, 1960 in Bogalusa, Louisiana.  She was a resident of Watson, Louisiana.  Over the years she worked for Volunteers of America and Livingston Activity Center. She spent her time listening to preaching on tv, reading her bible, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed collecting things and wearing her bracelets. 

She is survived by her four brothers; Jesse Creel and his wife Deirdre (DeeDee); Todd Creel and his wife Lisa. Jerry Creel, and Russell Creel Jr and his wife Lynn. She has numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell Creel Sr and Sandra Creel. And her brother, Dennis Creel Sr. 

"In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" John 14: 2-3

A private and intimate gathering for close family and friends will be held in Denham Springs, where Barbara Kay's family will come together to honor and remember her. We want to give special thanks to Church Funeral Services and Crematory in Walker, LA during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider lending a helping hand at your local group home as a meaningful way to honor Barbara Kay’s memory.
