In Loving Memory of Ashley Dawn Guyllette
Ashley Dawn Guyllette, 54, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 12th, 2026. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her faith has become sight and that she is at peace in the arms of God.
Ashley was born on May 4th, 1972, in Amite, Louisiana, to Ernest Anthony Guyllette and Clara Elaine Lee. Throughout her life, Ashley was known for her kind heart, her fierce spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. She loved wholeheartedly, stood strong through life’s trials, and never gave up on the people she cared about. She was a lover, but she was also a fighter, meeting every challenge with courage, determination, and unwavering faith.
Ashley spent many years as the manager at Party Time, where she formed lasting friendships and was admired for her hard work, dedication, and warm personality. She had a way of making people feel welcome and could brighten a room with her smile and quick sense of humor.
Above all else, Ashley’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Sierra Gordon (Tyler) and Madison Vizinat (Michael Lockhart), who were the pride of her life. Becoming “Gigi” was one of her greatest blessings. Her grandchildren, Brantlee Gordon and Michael Ellis Lockhart, filled her heart with immeasurable happiness, and she treasured every moment spent loving, laughing, and making memories with them.
Ashley also found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She was a proud and loyal New Orleans Saints fan, loved traveling to the mountains with her father, and never needed a reason to celebrate. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, milestone, or simply being together, Ashley believed every occasion was worth making special. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs were comforting, and her love was unwavering.
She is lovingly remembered by her father, Ernest Anthony Guyllette; her mother, Clara Elaine Lee; her daughters, Sierra Gordon and Madison Vizinat; her treasured grandchildren, Brantlee Gordon and Michael Ellis Lockhart; her loving sister, Melissa Guyllette; her loving brother, Joda Duncan Jr; and many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and love.
Although Ashley’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love she poured into others will continue to live on. Her family will remember her for her strength, her compassion, her generous heart, and the countless memories she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and unconditional love that will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ashley’s life during a visitation on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs. Funeral services will immediately follow.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, love, and support shown during this difficult time. While Ashley will be deeply missed every day, they rejoice in the promise that they will see her again.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
