Angelina “Gigi” Pellegrin Constantino was called home to the Lord on June 7, 2025. She was born on December 10, 1957 in New Orleans, LA. She worked for Maison Blanche Dept. Store, A&P grocery retailer, owned her own daycare, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Terrytown Booster Club for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo at Azalea Hall, cooking her favorite Italian meals, and watching her children play softball and baseball through the years. To know her was to know she loved shopping, but her favorite times were spent with her four youngest grandchildren: Miranda, Madilyn, Arabella, and Milania. She had great times with her friend Anthony Zaffuto. She rescued a chihuahua, named him “Buddy”, and he became her best pet companion. She loved the canine breed, Shih Tzu, and owned four of them throughout the years. She is preceded in death by her father Percy J. Pellegrin, mother Annie LaScala Pellegrin, husband Harold J. Constantino Sr., brother-in-law Larry Constantino and sister-in-law Mona Constantino Benson. She is survived by her son Harold J. Constantino Jr. and wife Bridgette, daughter Kristen M. Constantino, stepson Michael Constantino, and stepdaughter Stacey Wilkinson. She is the sister of Larry Pellegrin and wife Sandra, and Mary Pellegrin Guerrera. She is survived by her grandchildren Brianna Wilkinson Preiss, Kaitlyn Buonagura, Dylan Wilkinson, Miranda Mareno, Madilyn Constantino, Arabella Constantino, and Milania Mareno. Also survived by her godchildren Jessica Guerrera Palazzo and husband Anthony, Eric Pellegrin and wife Amanda, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her daughter Kristen stayed at her side through it all providing unconditional love and support. The family requested a private viewing with immediate family members. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on June 16, 2025 at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Raceland, LA. The family would like to give a special thank you to West Jefferson Medical Center, Dr. Jonathan Boraski, and Katie with Bridgepoint Continuing Care for helping with her recovery last year. In lieu of flowers, donate to St. Jude Cancer Research for children and the SPCA. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and her beloved pet companion “Buddy”.
