Alvin Lee Blair, Jr. “Junior”

Alvin Lee Blair Jr. (known as Junior) passed away June 13, 2023 at 64 years old in his home surrounded by family. Junior was brought into the world on January 14, 1959 in Winnfield, Louisiana where he resided until later becoming a resident of French Settlement, Louisiana. He started his family there and became an electrician for Doyle Electric. His ability to make everyone around him laugh is something he will be remembered for. He loved his daughters and grandkids and couldn’t have been more proud of them. Junior is survived by his three daughters Marie Blair Delaughter and husband Kris Delaughter, Amber Blair Driemeier and husband Shane Driemeier, and Kimberly Blair Rayborn; his grandchildren Taylor Adams, Alex Adams, Logan Adams, Dawson Adams, Paris Toups, Anna Driemeier, Gracelyn Driemeier, Sadie Rayborn, Aksel Rayborn; his two sisters Patricia Ann Blair Naset and husband Larry Naset, Bonnie Sue Blair Reid and husband Lee Reid, his two great grandchildren; and his numerous nieces and nephews. Junior is preceded in death by his father Alvin Lee Blair Sr.; his mother Lillie Pearl Bodry Blair; and his sister Dinah Kay Blair. Junior’s only wishes following his death were to be cremated and have his life long friend spread his ashes through the woods they loved to hunt.
