Alice Ione Ramsay Darden

Alice lone Ramsay Darden passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at her home in Denham springs at the age of 77. She was retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board and was a native of Laurel, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, 319 Mattie Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 12:00 PM conducted by Rev. Scott Bullock. She is survived by her sons, Frank Darden and fiance’ Lisa Walker, and Grant Darden and wife Kathy; 2 sisters, Jane Hodges and husband Roger and Ann Cichowski and husband Bob; 4 grandchildren, Casey, Frankie, Catherine and Elise; 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great­ grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Thomas R. and Catherine Ramsay. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
