Alan Quesenberry

A resident of St. Amant, LA, Alan was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 19, 1952, to William and Alberta Hodge Quesenberry. He proudly served his country in the Navy, stationed in Greece from 1973-1978. He traveled the country working in the construction industry as a civil engineer inspector, which is what brought him to Louisiana and his soulmate. They continued to travel and work together, until moving back to Louisiana in 2003. Upon retirement from construction, he enjoyed working in the public sector at Tractor Supply Co in Gonzales, LA. He was an avid pool player in local leagues in the places he lived.

 

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kandi (Richard) Quesenberry, mother, Alberta Hodge, sister Margie (Quesenberry) Garrett, children Monique Kling (Shane), and Eric Templet, grandchildren Shannah Roden (Jerrad), Nathan Kling (Caitie Creel), Celeste Kling, Brye Templet (Brittany), Juliana Perrin, great-grandchildren Addison and Carson Roden, & JP Kling, and numerous sister/brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, William Quesenberry, adopted sister Brandi Quesenberry, Father & Mother-in-law in law Val & Elaine Richard, and Brothers in law Maynard Garrett, Larry Richard, & Terry Hebert and nephew Quincy Shaddinger.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local animal shelters.
