Adele Mary Oubre Breaux

Adele Mary Oubre Breaux born on September 6, 1950, in Plaquemine, LA, passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 73.

She was a resident of St. Amant, LA. Adele was a hairdresser for many years.  She was a true red-head and had the fiery spunk to prove it, you never had to wonder what she was thinking. She was a talented artist that had a knack for painting, sketching, Paper Mache, and she loved creating homemade Halloween Costumes for the kids.  She was also a homemaker but wasn’t scared to get her hands dirty working on cars alongside her husband.

Adele is survived by sons, John "Rob" Breaux, Jr. and partner, Tracy Beeman, Adrien Breaux and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, John Breaux III and wife, Savannah, Zachary Breaux and partner, Alyx Chenier, Cameron Breaux and partner, Adriana Guice, Nathan Breaux; great-grandsons, Zayn Breaux and Dakoda Benoit; sisters, Theresa and Elizabeth; and a host of extended family and friends.

Adele is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, John Robert Breaux, Sr.; parents, Gertrude Haynes and Emile Oubre, Sr.; sisters, Betty, Carol Ann, Shirley, Peggy, Judy; and brothers, Evans, Stanley “Coon,” Clarence.
