Karole Ann Welch Inman

Karole Ann Welch Inman, daughter of Herman Lester and Ozajell LaFern Reeks Welch, was born February 6, 1950 in Leesville, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully at her home in Prairieville, Louisiana, surrounded by her husband and three sons on January 26, 2023 at the age of 72. Karole attended various schools and worked in several fields. Most recently, she retired from a 13-year career  with the Veterans Administration in 2021. She was a lifelong lover of the natural world and was very fond of wild flowers, plants and flowering trees.  Gardening, fishing and exploring nature were among her favorite activities. Her love of nature was shared and passed along to her family. Karole’s greatest passion was the wellbeing of her loved ones. She was extremely dedicated to helping others and persistent in her efforts to improve their lives. She was extremely generous with her time and energy to her family, friends and new acquaintances alike. Karole is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lester James Allen Welch, Lawrence Murl Welch, Laried Earl Welch; sisters, Kayla Sue Scott and Nora Kathalise Martin. She is survived by her husband James Henry Inman, sons, James Anthony Inman & wife Julie, Jason Lon Inman & wife Laura, Jonathon Welch Inman; her brother, Connied Jerrol Welch and grandchildren, Steven Ryan Fountain, Nicholas Wayne Fountain, Lyla Karole Inman, Cora Ellen Inman as well as a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2pm at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park in Prairieville, LA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made in her honor would be preferred.
