Donna Faye Burgess Landry

Donna Faye Burgess Landry, a resident of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the age of 68, with her family by her side.  Beloved mother of Troy Landry (Meagan) and Michelle L. Robicheaux (Keith); loving aunt of Amanda Barrient; grandmother of Austin Landry (Alexis), Maggie Landry, Ellie Robicheaux, Justin Robicheaux (Adrienne), Taylor Robicheaux; and great grandmother of Amelia.  Donna is also survived by her siblings; Jimmy Burgess (Lucy), Sylvia “Sibby” B. Ewen (Kelly), Glenda “Lulu” B. Rader; sister-in-law, Ann S. Burgess; her goddaughters, Mindy Burgess Helms and Kaitlyn Ewen Guillot; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Gladys Detillier Burgess and Samuel Franklin Burgess; sisters, Shirley B. Barrient, Laura B. Mollere, Joyce M. Burgess; and a brother, Samuel Orville Burgess. Donna was a loving mother, granny and sibling.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church, 716 Mississippi St., Donaldsonville, LA on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9AM until 11AM.  The Memorial Mass will follow at 11AM.  Interment, Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Donaldsonville.  We would like to thank all of her friends, family, Miss Eyvette Harris and the Amedysis hospice team.
