Ann Kleese Kysar

“And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:  for the former things are passed away.  And He that sits upon the throne will say, ‘Behold I make all things new’.”

Ann Kleese Kysar, a resident of Springfield passed away peacefully surrounded by the prayers and support of her loving husband and children on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Oschner Medical Hospital in Jefferson, LA.  after a short battle with lung cancer.

Ann was employed with Trinity/Arcosa as an Engineering Administrative Assistant for 28 years until released from duty in December of 2021.  Ann was a loyal employee who loved her job and held close relationships with a lot of the people she worked with over the years.

She enjoyed a quiet life with her beloved husband, reading, gaming, and researching genealogy.  She loved knowing about her roots.   In later years she made sure that she was a part of everything that she could be when it came to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom lovingly called her MeMaw.  She will be greatly missed by everyone who truly knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Edith Kleese, her brothers, Richard and Earl Kleese and sisters Earlene Sitton, and Rose Corder, her in-laws Vernon and Elizabeth Kysar, stepdaughter, Erika Kysar and her grandson Byron Daigle.

By her wishes she will be cremated and laid to rest with her grandson Byron Jacob Daigle.  A Celebration of Life will be held on February 4, 2023, at Erwinville Baptist Church, 4456 Poydras Bayou Drive, Port Allen, LA.  From 10:00-12:00 with interment to follow.
