A ceremony celebrating the life of Billie L. Harris will be held on Thursday October 27, 2022, at 12 noon at Christian Center Church, 8774 Dave Clark Road, Denham Springs, visitation will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery.
Billie was born on August 5, 1941, in Bastrop, LA to the union of the late Billie and Lela Ford Lum and passed from this life on Sunday October 23, 2022.
She enjoyed fishing (even though she couldn’t swim a lick), sewing, word search puzzles, she was an avid animal lover, no animal was ever turned away. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Christian Center Church Denham Springs.
She is preceded in death by her husband Philip G. Harris, Phyllis Henry, and Eddie Lum.
Beloved mother to Arthur Ebey Jr and Rhonda Garrett (Levi), grandmother to Darrell W. and Charity Garrett, Sharon and Ben Abrams, William and Amanda Ebey, Dawnelle and Ben Wheeler, Brittany and Bobby Stewart, David and Amanda Hoffpauir, great grandmother to Alex Abrams, Annabelle and Scarlet Garrett, Heath and Adalie Ebey, sister to Linda and Chuck Jones, Sharon and Kenny Wesley, Darrell Lum, Rex Lum, Martha, and Wanda, also survived by a host of great-great grandchildren.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Darrell W. Garrett, William Ebey, Wesely Weber, Ben Abrams, Alex Abrams, and Ben Wheeler.
