Lisa Ann Mcallister

Lisa Ann McAllister, age 66, beloved mother and daughter, passed away in the comfort of her mother’s home in Baker, LA on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at 11:30pm due to cancer.

Lisa was born in Magnolia, Mississippi on Christmas Day in 1955 to Jacqueline Bryan McAllister and J. D. McAllister.

She spent her childhood in Baker, Louisiana and during adulthood lived in Baton Rouge. The most defining trait about her was her outgoing personality and kind heart. During her free time, Lisa enjoyed playing guitar, quilt-making, and landscaping; she also belonged to the Baton Rouge Irish Club.

Lisa is survived by her mother Jackie McAllister, her siblings Paula Plaisance, Scott McAllister, and Susan McAllister, and her children Rachel Marasco Cavin, and Dominic Christian Marasco.

We humbly invite any friends or family of the deceased and surviving family to join us to pay our last respects to Lisa, visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:00am at St Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70811 with the funeral mass to follow at 11:00am with Fr Frank Bass officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
