Jerry O. Tullos

A ceremony celebrating the life of Jerry O. Tullos will be held at 11:00 am on Monday August 29, 2022, at River of Life Worship Center, visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Colyell Community Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Bobby Ready and Rev. Carl Sullivan.

Mr. Tullos was born in Varnado, LA on June 12, 1939, and passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Thursday August 25, 2022, at Ochsner Medical Center Baton Rouge at the age of 83 years. He was a resident of Livingston and retired with H B Zachry Construction Corp in 1992. He was a veteran having served in the US National Guard Reserve. He was a devoted member and faithful deacon with River of Life Worship Center and had a great passion for his faith, family, and friends. He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid fan of NASCAR, and football, especially the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert O. and Daisy Moody Tullos, a grandson Kevin Michael Blanton, and sisters Shirley Smith and Charlene Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Margaret Duncan Tullos; children Dawn Tullos Alford, Jerry Brent Tullos (Leah), and Cindy Tullos LeBeau (Darren), his grandchildren Jonathan Alford (Jamie), Amanda Tullos (Trevor), Justin Alford, Makayla Bruno, Rani Tullos, Landyn Tullos, and Josie Tullos, his great grandchildren Kylie Pene, Preston Pene, and Cooper Alford; also survived by other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Brent Tullos, Jonathan Alford, Justin Alford, Darren LeBeau, Trevor Pene, and Donnie Dykes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Seals, John Gentry, Wayne Peluso, Brandon Hotard, Ron Townley, Wayne Ragsdale, Tyler Craig, Rollie Thurston, and Kevin Cotton.
