Passed peacefully to eternal life at 2:04 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Pointe Coupee Healthcare, New Roads, Louisiana. She was 60 and a native of New Roads. She was a graduate of Poydras High School, New Roads, attended Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, and during her career was employed by TicketMaster in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She is survived by two brothers and spouses, Lawrence Guerin (Kerri) and Dwayne Guerin (Celena); three nephews, Jeremy Langlois (Kelly), Devin Soulier and Layton Cline; two nieces, Maegan Cline (Krystopher) and Heidi Guerin; two great-nephews, Brett Langlois and Konnor Bacon; and three great-nieces, Delaney Langlois, Emma Bacon and Katelyn Cline.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence, Sr. and Mathilda Porche Guerin, and sister, Judy Guerin.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Church, Lakeland, Louisiana. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Guerin, Lawrence Guerin, Jr., Brian Cline, Kerry Cline, Ron Hebert and Devin Soulier.

The family offers special thanks to Debra Patin, who assisted in Phyllis’ transportation to medical appointments and treatments.

Phyllis will be remembered by family and a host of friends for her infectious joy and humor, her love of music and movies, her love of home decorating, especially for Christmas, the care she extended to family members and friends in their times of need, and the courage and serenity with which she endured three bouts of terminal illness.
