Richard Hodges, age 71, was a loving father, retired welder and avid fisherman acquired his heavenly fishing spot on August 7th, 2022. He was born November 18th, 1950 in Tylertown, Mississippi to Annie and Earl Hodges.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 24 years, his daughter Tommie (Joey), his bonus daughter Kim (Kurtis), bonus son Kendall, and a slew of grandchildren; Josh (Ashley), Zach (Lan), Gavin, Riley, Bailey (Josh), Hunter and Hunter, Daniel, Dylan, Jordan, Alexander, Kendrick and Jacob. As well as two sisters-in-law Shelia (Phil), Cathy and his very special fishing buddies Ted (Debra) and Stacy.
Private Celebration of Life service will he held at a later date.
Richard has moved beyond all pain and suffering. He has his furry friends to sit with him again. He can go join any number of card games after fishing. Think of Linda Gail. She is the one still suffering. She needs your support. Put her in your prayers as she is in mine. Love and prayers, Sister.
May he enjoy the best fishing and company in his heavenly home now. Though I know he will be missed deeply by those who love him here, his memory will remain.
