Deborah Fay Lachney, a native of Alexandria, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning 8/7/22 at the age of 62. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
Preceded in death by her father Harry Lachney, her mother Susie Mitchell Blanchard and her brothers Danny Lachney and David Murphy.
She is survived by her 3 children, Brandy Fung (Wayne), Anthony Lachney (Courtney) and Landon LeBlanc (Kristy). Her sister, Mary Sue Babin and her brother, James Murphy. She has four grandchildren, Nathan, Hayden, Morgan & Dylan.
Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her and brought her great joy. She loved gardening and flowers and was known for having a “green thumb”, just like her Mama.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and providers in the OLOL ICU Neuro Unit and a very special thanks to all of the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice.
A private memorial service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Healing Place Church.
