Betty M. Hebert

Betty M. Hebert, a native and resident of Gonzales, LA, died peacefully at home on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the age of 84.  She retired from Landry’s Pharmacy after 44 years of service.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend to many. Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 9:30am to 11:30am. Mass will follow with burial in the Church Cemetery. She is survived by her three daughters, Roxie H. Parent (Michael), Jessica H. Prettelt (Tulio), and Tiffini Hebert (Donald); two sisters, Hazel Parr and Mae Templet; and two brothers, James Douglas Mayers and George Ray Mayers.  She has three grandsons, Chase Prettelt (Allison), Cameron and Daniel Parent (Tess) and three great grandchildren, Payton, Parker and Owen Prettelt. Preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Paul Hebert, her parents, Joseph Henry and Martha Edna Mayers, four brothers, J.O. “Neal”, John Harvey, J.B. and Gerald Mayers, and two sisters, Rosalie Davis and Rita M. Morin. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the sitters (mom’s angels), Patricia Templet, Laverne Montet and Betty Farley.  Also, special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice.
