Aimee Lynn (Willie) Kerek

Aimee Lynn (Willie) Kerek, was born on October 16, 1972. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She gained her angel wings on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Aimee loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a strong relationship with God and adored her church family. Aimee enjoyed jamming out to her favorite songs while driving with her sunroof open and her windows down. She was a true fashionista with a passion for fashion. Although not a professional, Aimee had a talent for photography. She enjoyed taking pictures of her family, especially her children and grandchildren, but her specialty was that she was The Selfie Queen.

Aimee’s presence and beautiful smile lit up every room she entered. She could turn any gathering into a party. Those who knew her will remember her spunky, bubbly personality.

She was always determined to help anyone in need.

Her fighting spirit will live on in the hearts of all those that loved her.

Aimee was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Willie; grandmothers, Jeanette Melancon and Kathleen Willie; grandfathers Julian “JC” Melancon and Norwood Willie, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Jerome Kerek, Sr.; her children Kristina (Willie) Brown and Son-in-Law Keith Brown, daughter Shelby Lake Hutchinson, and son Larry Paul Lee, Jr.; Her parents Jena Melancon and Wayne Willie; grandchildren Brylen Willie, Brensen and Braxen Petrolia. Aimee is also survived by a niece, nephew, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

We would like everyone to celebrate her love of life by wearing bright colors to her services.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of St.Amant (13423 La-431 St. Amant, La 70774) on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until services at 11:00am.
