
Sarah Lynn Ballard Cormier, 53 years old passed away at home Sunday May 15, 2022. She was a native of Port Allen, La. and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, La.
Preceded in death by her father Alexander Ballard and her mother Rita Mae Lake Ballard.
Survived by her husband Joseph (Joey) Cormier and her son Terry D. George II, sisters and brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Sarah was passionate about LSU and Saints football. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Special thanks to her dearest friends Cherie Glass and Cindy Booth, who were there for her in her time of need.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022 beginning at 1pm at Tanglewood Church of God of Prophecy, 9281 Lansdowne Road, Baton Rouge, La. Services will be conducted by Reverend John Jones.
Rest in the arms of Jesus now Sarah, I will miss seeing you on Facebook my friend. I will root them tigers on for you!

A beautiful lady left this cruel World. She was quick to help others. Sarah loved everyone and she was loved. She will be missed. My prayers go out to Joey, Terry, and all her family. I loved her. I have known her since she was a little girl. She always called me, Aunt Red.
