Theron “Ty” James Howe

Theron passed from this life following a massive stroke on April 7, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. He was born Oct 20, 1963 in Baton Rouge, LA to Byron and Jacquelyn Cook Howe. He was raised in Gonzales and attended St Amant High School graduating in 1981.

Theron worked in many different fields throughout his lifetime. He was loved everywhere he worked and gained lifetime friendships with each new job. He loved gardening, photography and playing any kind of card or dice game. He enjoyed reading, collecting clowns and traveling. Most of all, he loved doing those things with his friends. He tended to leave everyone he encountered with a smile.

We would like to give special thanks to Connie, Lola, and Patty. Ms Gwen, thank you for the Sunday dinners. Much love and God bless ladies.

Theron is survived by Jacquelyn Cook Howe, mother; Gaynell Howe Michel (Brent), sister; Alexis Mire Davenport (Joshua), niece; Tyler Matthew Mire, great nephew; Gail Howe Doub, his favorite aunt and second mom; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.

Theron was preceded in death by Byron Howe, father; Arthur and Bernelle Millet Cook, maternal grandparents; William Wesley Howe Jr, paternal grandfather; Isamae Rouyea Gautreau, paternal grandmother; and his beloved chiweenie, Princess Howe.

A celebration of Theron’s life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at The Venue II 13475 Hwy 431 St Amant, LA 70774 from 3pm to 5pm. Please come and share your memories.
