Helen Mary Millien Clouatre

Helen Mary Millien Clouatre, age 97, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at her niece’s residence. She was the daughter of the late Adam Millien and Eva Hernandez of Modeste, Louisiana. She enjoyed watching her western movies on television, private conversations with all she knew and loved. She would plan her rides to the casino, playing guitar and any form of music. She was also an avid bird watcher while sitting and looking from her living room. She is survived by two children; Jerry Clouatre of Plaqueming and Sharon (husband James) Thibodeaux of Plaquemine; brother, Henry Millien of Cameron, TX; numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Clouatre; son, Gary Clouatre; siblings, Elnora Lobello, Rose West, Virginia Jones, Harry Millien, Mary Medine and Jack Millien. The family wishes to express a special appreciation to Hospice in His Care for their kindness and support and to  Mike and Debra Tusa (nephew and niece) for their special care. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Church Funeral Services of Walker are in charge of arrangements.
