Misty Ann Drake

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Misty Ann Drake on February 9, 2022 in Harvey, LA at the age of 41. She will be lovingly remembered by her 8 children: Haley, Nathan, Rebecca, Lindsey, Trinity, Anthony, Keyara, and Dominique; her six grandchildren, and her brother, Adam Sanders. Misty was born in Danville, Arkansas on June 16, 1980 to Charlotte Sanders. In life, Misty was loved by many through all her struggles. She had a pure, loving heart, giving all she could to help others. Misty enjoyed traveling and lived in various locations throughout the US, making friends and spreading love everywhere she went. Misty also had a deep passion for singing and is, without a doubt, singing with the angels now. May she now rest in peace, free from all her pain and burdens. Many will miss her and remember her daily. In our memories she will live on, in our hearts her soul resides. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, location to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, the family of Misty Ann Drake’s asks that you consider a donation to defray the cost of funeral expenses. In the quiet misty morning

her soul has laid to rest.

My heart is softly mourning

counting stars to go to bed.

In the quiet misty morning

her beauty runs free,

while in memory she sings.
